The Florida Eels Elite Team go 18 Straight Wins – As they Hand it to the Jr Blades in Their Final Home Game of the Season and its Final Game between the Two Clubs.

To say the Eels were dialed in is the understatement of the year. All cylinders were firing and they rolled players through the lineup keeping all of its players fresh and ready for their upcoming playoff run. This shows the depth of this team. It was nice to reach 18 straight wins but the key here is to continue to play our game, our style our system. Not to react to the other team and their game. We stay focused. Opponents find it difficult to read the Eels as they continue to change up what they are doing. Moreover, the depth of this squad is phenomenal.  Look at the stats and you will such balance in the scoring and its lines. They are 4 lines deep. There is such comradery among the players. This is what a team needs to be in going to playoffs. Not one player is concerned about his own individual stats. It is all about the team. Nd they get it. Defense first. You can see it in the forecheck as they smother opponents  and the Eels puck retrieval. Then they are equally suffocating on their back checking responsibilities. And when it comes time to score, they do it Averaging 5-7 goals for a game and with outstanding performances day in and day out in net.

The cross town rivals the Jr Blades felt the Eels power. The Eels came out like Bees swamming all over them. When the Eels were hit they withstood the pressure. They played with discipline. They knew the Blades would push and the Eels thawed and tempered their attack. And the frustration set in and the Eels pushed hard on the Blades netminder pounding 43 shots on net compared to 18.

The Eels have one remaining game against the Palm Beach Typhoon. That game is scheduled to be played Friday 3:30 pm in Palm Beach  The  Eels know magic 19 is in the waits.
