The Florida Eels Close Season With A  Clear and Convincing  9-2 Win Over the Jr Blades

The Eels finish the regular season as one of the hottest Premier team’s in the league. 10 straight wins. Three of those games by 8+ goals for. They captured first place in the Florida Division over taking the Tampa Juniors by 6 points. They are ranked 7th in the league and 6th in My Hockey Rankings in the league 17th overall Nationally. The key here is how wel they have played over the past 10 games.

Watching these games you can see how determined the Eels players are. They play with a surgical precision. I have never seen such passion, and determination of players With a shortened bench rather than reach fatigue they showed resolve from their intense training and tilted the rink to its favor. When the Blades came out hitting, hoping to temper the Eels potent offense, the Eels responded in kind. The Eels showed its strength and shifted into 2nd gear. The Eels went up 4-0 .  The Blades scored 2 power play goals.  The Eels coaches settled things down and regrouped. “Stay focused and stick to our game”. Indeed, they did with scoring 5 unanswered goals in the 3rd period

Stayed disciplined.  Keep their mind on the mission Our goal all year. Advance from the Florida Division Playoffs and Nationals. It is amazing how tight these young men are. The comradery is unparalleled. It reelects upon their training from August. 4-5 hours per day. They are hungrier and more determined than ever. This team has an unwavering commitment to each other.
