Eels Elite Make it Magic 17 Yes 17 Straight Wins

17 Straight Wins For The Eels Elite Team

The Eels Elite team strike 17 straight wins. What an  Incredible accomplishment for this young team. They defeated the Palm Beach Typhoon in unfamiliar territory that is – an olympic size rink. The two teams had to play at the Palm Beach Ice Works Arena yesterday as one of the remaining make up games between the two clubs. As we all know the Palm Beach Ice Zone was not ready due to a Fire in the facility.

The Eels traveled to the Palm Beach Ice Works to square off against their cross state rivals the Palm Beach Typhoon. When the Eels arrived they were not completely ready for the larger ice surface It took teh Eels players a little bit to adjust before they took control of the game. This Eels team is indeed a very young group of players but they have tremendous skill set and they are excellent skaters.

The scoring was pretty balanced as we saw quite a few players get involved in the points.

JJ Diaz notched his first goal as an Eel. Carl Ingalls got a pair of goals Ben Allen on Defense scored a big one. Kaleb Harrop scored another huge one for the team. And we saw Riley Smyth and Rick Hughes get one each.

Jake Mork had another strong game in net.

The boys keep rolling looking for number 18 against the Blades on Sunday 10:30 am at the Fort Myers Skatium
