Typhoon Storm Watch Quelched by Eels Premier Team to Tropical Depression.

The Eels Premier team continued with their winning way as they outgunned the Palm Beach Typhoon with a total of 11 goals to 5 against. Today, the Eels scored 4 goals and left another 5-6 on the doorstep. Credit to the Typhoon netminder who stayed strong turning away direct hits. Both goalies played outstanding shutting down shooters after shooters. It was an impressive performance by both squads. The difference here is the depth the Eels have on the Premier team and many strong prospects on its Eels Elite team.

This was an exciting game from the drop of the puck. Great skill set evidenced up and down testing the netminders with direct shots. The boys from both teams were hungry and thirsting for a win. The Eels stood to take first place in their Division. Palm Beach looking to edge their way closer to the Jr Blades sitting in 3rdplace who captured 2 wins against the Tampa Juniors. Palm Beach knows they are in a dog fight and every point is key.

The Eels had too much talent here and experience. Palm Beach made it very interesting in the final minute of play as they were down 2 goals and the Eels incurred 2 penalties. To make it more interesting Palm Beach pulled their goalie and had a 6 on 3 for the final minute. But the Eels did what they do best and that is shut you down defensively.  Yes they can beat you on offense and break your heart on defense.

In the end the Eels swept the Typhoon in their 2-game series. Scoring went as follows:
