In just two weeks, the Florida Eels will reunite in Fort Myers, Florida, as players from across the globe descend for the start of an exciting new season. Player orientation kicks off on Saturday, August 24th, with the highly anticipated intensive training camp beginning the very next day, Sunday, August 25th.
The energy is already building. Players are eager to lace up their skates, hit the ice, and reconnect with their teammates. For returning veterans, it’s a chance to lead the way; for new recruits, it’s the start of their Eels journey.
Premier Head Coach Frank Scarpaci shared his excitement:
“We have a strong group of guys returning this season to lead the way, and we look forward to working with our new recruits. It will be good to have the guys back together and start up again. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but the guys are excited and they are ready.”
As the countdown ticks closer, coaches are finalizing preparations, sharpening systems, and setting the tone for a season that promises speed, skill, and relentless determination. The Eels’ commitment to excellence begins here — and the ice in Fort Myers will soon be buzzing with the sounds of hockey season once again.
Let’s go, Eels!
