The Florida Eels are very excited to announce the Re-Signing of 5’11” 165 lbs 2000 veteran forward TJ Zebley to its Premier team for next season. TJ is a home-grown Estero Florida player. TJ is a 4-year veteran of the USPHL. He played for the Eels for the last 2 seasons. He brings a wealth of leadership and experience to the Eels program.
Last season in 42 games Zebley scored 12 goals and notched 26 assists. In his 4 season playing juniors he amassed a total of 64 goals and 88 assists for a total of 152 points averaging 38 in 122 games. That is an average of 1.25 points per game.
He is a clutch player echoes Premier Coach Frank Scarpaci. He can score with only 6 inches of daylight. He has incredible vision. An extremely high hockey IQ. He plays with a high compete level. He has outstanding skill set. This kid has explosive speed and soft hands. He can score at will. He is very deadly in front of the net. He is an ever-present threat on opposing goalies. He is one of the most dedicated and determined young men in the league. You will always find him shooting 100+ pucks per day working on his scoring touch. In addition to his offensive abilities as a center he is one of our most gifted defensive forwards.
TJ is a true team leader notes General Manager Frank Scarpaci. He has held the title as assistant captain the last several seasons. He knows how to motivate players. He not only leads on the ice, but as General Manager Frank Scarpaci states has that unique talent to reach every player on the team. He leaves nobody out.
TJ has a mission and job to complete. That is winning a National Title. We are very excited to have Tj back this season to lead our team.
