Congratulations To  Trevor Voyda as he has been selected as The Don Awrey Elite Defensemen of The Month For January for the Florida Eels. 

This award is given to each month to a Florida Eels defenseman who has played outstanding for the Eels Elite team. We are proud to announce Trevor Voyda  has demonstrated tremendous skill and talent and has been selected as recipient of this prestigious award. It is bestowed on a player who exemplified outstanding performance on defense.  Trevor has  shown to be at the top of his game in all 3 zones.

He is stalwart  in the D Zone. Steadfast in battling in front of his crease. Poised and impossible move. He is very offensive minded. Moves the puck very well.  He has a hard heavy shot that is punishing on opposing goalies. He has a high Hockey IQ reads the ice so well. He stands out not only among his peers but with opposing coaches as well

Trevor has been  key to the Eels success for the Month of January.
