The key to the Florida Eels Premier team’ success this season is that they have balance scoring. On the premier team they may not have a player or 2 in the top scoring but they have 9 players with double digits in points. Their defense is solid in all 3 zones. They have a combination of size, speed, move the puck exceptionally well, are very good on the transition and every defensemen is a consummate threat on the offensive blue line. Moreover both net minders goaltending has been nothing short of stela.

To sum it up it has been a team effort all around.

Yes you may have to school down to #66 to find the Eels in scoring but individual stats isn’t coach Scarpaci’s focus. Just look how the TEAM has performed. They are #1 in the Florida Division and have “see sawed” between #1-6 in the entire league all season. They have been amounts the top in GF and GA in the entire league.

This is an extremely talented group of young men who are just now starting to put it together as a close unit. 15 of these guys never played with each other before. It takes time to gell asa unit and despite this they have ben a true team.
