For over 2 decades the Eels have been attending the Pro-AM Sr Chowder Cup in Foxboro Mass. July 18-21stthe Eels will be once again returning to Massachusetts to compete in one of the most prestigious post seasons showcases in North America.  As in the Pro-AM Pre-Draft in May,  the Eels will be having players from across the USA Canada and Europe. The competition is very strong at this forum. The teams  competing there are made up players ranging from QMJHL OHL BCHL USPHL NAHL USHL and other junior leagues across the USA and Canada.

This is an excellent venue for players to gain invaluable experience playing with and against some of the top players in the world. It is also a phenomenal opportunity for players to garner tremendous visibility and exposure as there are 100’s of scouts from the NHL AHL ECHL NCAA and all of the top Junior programs be it Tier I II and III. In fact it was at the Sr Chowder Cup that two of the Eels alumni were invited to join the USA NTDP National team. Several others were invited to the World events and numerous others were scouted and recruited by college coaches.
