The Florida Eels Elite Team Blanks the Palm Beach Typhoon 4-0 to Sweep Weekend Home and Away Series.

The Eels continued their winning ways against the Palm Beach Typhoon as they shutout them out in Sunday’s homestand 4-0. The Eels defeated the Typhoon on last Wednesday by a score of 5-2. This is the Eels 4thstraight win over the Typhoon this season. The two squads have 4 games against them 2 home and 2 away games. This weekend sweep brings the Eels Elite within 2 points of First Place Tampa.  This was a complete game by the Eels. A well balanced attack and a defensive showcasing, coupled with nothing less than outstanding goaltending in both games.

The Eels are off for the Thanksgiving break. A well needed rest for the guys. They have been training hard on the ice and off ice. They have daily chalk talk and video sessions. Most of the players will be going home back and recharging their energies while capturing some valuable family time. Spending time with their families is really important and we know they will be returning ready to go. Upon their return the Elite team will square off against the Jr Blades twice and once against the Tampa Juniors.  Then they will be  heading to the December Showcase and the boys know these will be tough games and they will be ready for the challenge.
