Last season he was selected unanimously as team Captain and lead his team to another Divisional title and to Nationals where his team made it to Finals and was one goal away from taking it all. He truly ripened into one of the league’s top defensemen scoring 5 goals and notching 23 assists for 28 points in the Premier Division. That is not an easy task!

Cade will be a true asset for Roosevelt University’s program. He has very strong skill set. Solid skater. Very good puck movement skill. Very tough to play against in the Defensive zone. Very good gap control. And a consummate treat to the offensive blue line. He has been recognized by his peers having been repeatedly named Assistant Captain and Captain on each of his season with the Eels. He is an outstanding leader as evidenced by his team’s systematic winning of the Florida Divisional titles and their repeated advancement to Nationals. He had been selected numerous occasions to Player of the Week, Player of the Month, and year-end All-Star team. He was selected this past season to the Hub City League All Star Team as well.

Despite his extremely energetic and enthusiastic character on the bench and on the ice, he is a quite humble young man from Summerville SC with impeccable character. He isone of our most loyal and dedicated players who ever sported an Eels jersey. He has unmatched work ethic, and this will boast well in college.  Cade had a plethora of offers from colleges. He felt that Roosevelt and playing for Coach Billy Karr was the perfect fit for him with their academic program and his hockey team. We wish Cade the very best.
