The Florida Eels Are Excited to Announce that 1999 Veteran Cam Hogan Forward from Springfield Massachusetts has Signed with The Eels Junior program for the 20181-9 Season.

Cam comes to the Eels after playing one season with the Springfield Pics Elite team, one year with the Springfield Pics USP3 team and one year with their U16 squad. GM Scarpaci noted he first saw Cam play at the USPHL Spring Showcase in May when the Eels prospects team was playing against the Springfield Pics.

Coach Frank Scarpaci said Cam later joined us in July at the prestigious Pro-Am Sr. Chowder Cup with our Eels prospects team. We noticed immediately how hard this young man was willing to work. We were playing against some pretty tough teams and Cam was bringing everything he had to the ice. He showed us how bad he wanted to join our program. This type of work ethic and fortitude is not common in so many guys today. Players come in entitled and complacent. The Eels being know for its herald college advancement knows full well there is no room for that mind set. So, we knew he was a player we wanted.

GM Scarpaci concludes that it is a big year for Cam. A 1999 is no longer young in the eyes of the college coaches. He has to come to the rink every day and willing to make himself that much better every time he comes to practice and to the gym. Cam wants to play college hockey and the only way that happens today is to be the most dedicated and determined young man. It gets crowed at the top and we do believe he has the fortitude and desire to make his dreams a reality. Welcome to the Eels
