MANY EELS PLAYERS AND ALUMNI JOIN COACH FRANK OVER THE WEEKEND RECRUITMENT EFFORTS
GM SCARPACI RETURNS TO THE CCM JUNIOR PROSPECTS SHOWCASE IN DENVER CO SEARCHING FOR NEXT SEASON’S HOT PROSPECTS.
GM Scarpaci was back to his familiar scouting turf Denver CO. The Eels have been extremely successful in the past recruiting some of its top players from Colorado. In fact the Eels have over 15 alumni from Colorado. This has always been a main stay for the Eels. Last year a local TV sports show did a 15-minute TV sports show about the Eels and its Colorado connection referring to us as the “Colorado Eels”.

This year it was especially nice to have so many of our current players and alumni join GM Scarpaci in our recruiting efforts. A huge thanks to John Drummond and Lisa Drummond who spent over 30 hours with me manning tables, and working with the recruitment of dozens upon dozens of top players. Also a big thanks to Cory Richardson, Alex Sanchez, his mom, Mrs. Sanchez, John Shanley, his dad Mr. Shanley, Garrett Wood and his mom and dad Mr. and Mrs. Wood who also joined Clare and I over the weekend. Thank you for your help and support over the weekend. We had strength in numbers and folks there saw it. . Even former Eels Zachary Forrest came by to help with the Eels recruiting efforts.

Thanks to all present and for their help. We had over 500 players to attend to and the assistance was very much welcomed.

We felt we had a strong presence and garnered quite a bit of interest from very talented players. The recruitment efforts is going very well this year and we look to another very strong year ahead for our Elite and Empire teams.
