The Eels Elite team were “Red Hot” this weekend They went 4-0. 3 shutouts. The blanked the Junior Bruins 3-0 in game one. Repeated their shutout performances against the Northeast top ranked Northern Cyclones 3-0. Then they out gunned the league’s top team in teh Elite Division the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights in OT 3-2. The stay have been the Eels best game of the season. Then today the Eels drooped the Springfield Pics 4-0.
The guys put their game into another level. They smothered all comers and suffocated them in all 3 zones. Scoring came from a variety of players.
In addition to the Showcase games upended the Bridgewater Bandits on Thursday a pre showcase scrimmage 5-1.
The Eels remain 2 points behind the Tampa Juniors and 9 points ahead of the Jr Blades.
