The Eels Premier team did not look like a team who has been off the ice for 3 weeks. It took the guys a very short time to regroup and get their game on. They showed that they were reseted and ready for action. This was a short week of practice for the guys as many trickled in throughout the week.

The boys found the back of the net and with each goal it seemed to engegize and fuel the next one. The scoring was very balanced as many contributed to this win. Equally strong was our defensive effort. The boys knew they got into a hole early with some defensive lapses but had to experience and poise to come back and settle things down.

There is a lot of fire power on this squad and the focus here is to improve in all ends. We keep our eye on the big picture and we don’t get lost with individual stats and accolades.

We have to hand it to the Hitmen. These guys played hard and never quit. There was not any cheap shots after the play. They kept coming no matter what the score was. A class out fit and very well coached. We appreciate the coming and wish them the best the remainder of the season.
