Congratulations to our USPHL Elite Players Of The Week from our Southern region (Florida, Southeast divisions)!

Forward: Matt Dougherty, Richmond Generals.

A repeat selection at forward, Dougherty was a one-man machine at the USPHL Southeast Showcase in Charlotte. He picked up 13 points in his four games. His offense played a big role in the Generals’ 4-0 weekend.

Defense: James Rowe, Hampton Roads Whalers.

Rowe, a ’99 out of Fort Myers, Fla., scored three assists and was a defensive presence throughout the Southeast Showcase in Charlotte. The Whalers went 4-0 between Friday and Sunday.

Goal: Nahuel Veyan, Florida Eels.

Nahuel Veyan, an ’01 from Toulouse, France, had a great weekend for the Eels. HE went 2-0 in his first-ever showcase with a .981 save percentage. Veyan only allowed one goal in both of his games and helped his team secure a shootout victory against the Eagles. Veyan is now 3-0-1 for the Eels this season with a 1.89 goals against average.
