The Florida Eels Junior Hockey Program is ecstatic to announce the signing of forward Teddy Feng from China. The Eels, who are known for importing talented players from around the globe, are particularly excited about bringing in their first player from China.

According to the Eels, Teddy and his family were drawn to the program’s commitment to player development and training. Over the past decade, the Eels have been a dominant force winning their division and playoffs consistently over the past decade and advancing to nationals on a yearly basis. Additionally, the coaching staff has a wealth of experience in working with foreign players. Coach Frankie Scarpaci makes it his business to make sure foreign players feel comfortable here and learn and get a commanding knowledge of the North American game. These young men are thousands of miles away from home and we make sure they enjoy their surroundings while here and don’t feel out of place.

“We’re thrilled to be adding Teddy to our roster,” said coach Scarpaci. “He’s got a great skill set, a strong work ethic, and a real hunger to learn and improve. We’re confident that he’ll thrive in our program and go on to play college hockey.”

For Teddy, the opportunity to join the Florida Eels represents a major breakthrough for junior hockey in the USA. “I’m honored to be the first player from China to join the Eels,” “I’m excited to learn and grow under their guidance and hope to make a real impact on the team.”

Overall, the signing of Teddy Feng is a major accomplishment for the Florida Eels and a sign of the program’s continued commitment to excellence. Fans can look forward to seeing Teddy in action when the season begins in the fall of 2023.
