The Florida Eels are extremely excited about the signing of high-end forward Devin Shepherd

The Eels have been recruiting Shepherd for two years and we are very excited that he has elected to make Fort Myers his home for the 2021-22 playing season echoes GM Frank Scarpaci. Devin is a 2003 left shot forward who has outstanding skill set.  At 6’3” 180 lbs. he is known to use his size to his advantage. He is a very strong skater and is a natural in point production. He plays a very aggressive forecheck. His style of play creates many loose puck turn overs and his hunger boast puck retrieval. Is anything but complacent. He is a very determined young man and plays with a very high compete level.

Shepherd comes with a solid hockey foundation and background. Playing Tier I AAA Honeybaked in the High Performance Hockey League HPHL U15 and U18 He also played high school hockey for the prestigious United I Griffins. Head Coach Frank Scarpaci of the Premier team says he is looking forward to Devin joining the team. He is a real competitor. Great character and he witnessed first-hand at the Pre-Draft his leadership skills and the intangible qualities of this individual. He does so many little things right. He will be a pleasure to coach.  We welcome Devin to the Eels family.
