Florida Eels returned to the ice Monday, after a week off for the Thanksgiving break. Players returned home to their families, taking advantage of a little down time before returning this week in preparation for busy couple of weeks. The Florida Eels will be competing in 7 games over the next two and half weeks as they round off the 2025 portion of the season with 3 regular season games, and a four game Showcase appearance in Estero.
Players on both Premier and Elite hit the ice in full stride Monday, skating off any travel rust as they prepare for this weeks’ match up against the Florida Jr. Blades on Thursday, December 4th, 2025. Florida Eels Premier will take on the Jr. Blades on home ice, with a puck drop at 12:00 pm, at the Fort Myers Skatium. While the Florida Eels Elite head to Hertz arena to take on the Jr. Blades Elite at 1:30 pm. Eels Premier have pulled off 2 wins of the 3 games played against the Blades this season; however, their last matchup against the Jr. Blades took place at the end of October-where they claimed a 5-4 win in overtime. What will the Eels Premier bring to the ice in Thursday’s match up? Eels Elite will take on the Florida Jr. Blades for the third time this season, this Thursday. Eels Elite have battled to find a win against the Jr. Blades this season, and have been preparing to regain their victorious title this Thursday. They are not to be underestimated.
