Associate Coach- Jari Sanders

Coach Jari Sanders has always been one of the best-known leaders that have been a part of the Eels franchise.  Since being coached by Scarpaci from the age of 14, he took the role of captaincy with pride.  Whenever a new face came to the Eels organization Sanders was the first one to greet them.  Jari captained his Eels teams twice to nationals, even earning a silver medal in one.  Since his days with the Eels he has played NCAA Div.III hockey for the Concordia University-Wisconsin, captaining 3 of them.  Sanders owns the all time points by defenseman at the University and was rewarded the prestigious defenseman of the year award all four years.  After his four years of NCAA eligibility were done at Concordia he remained there a season to learn as assistant coach.  We hope to have Jari bring his leadership, tenacity and knowledge back to the Eels organization where he is taking on the Associate Coaching role for the 2012-13 season.
